THE Rapid Bus Expressway Transit (RapidBET) got off to a good start yesterday as commuters lauded the shorter travel times.

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat said that during the initial introductory stage, the system would run at 15 to 20-minute intervals during the morning and evening peak hours.

Two routes were introduced - Kota Damansara to KL Sentral and Pasar Seni via the Penchala Link (RapidBET1); and Bandar Sungai Long to Pasar Seni via the Grand Saga Highway (RapidBET2).

I wonder how well this will be received by the Klang Valley commuters, and whether this will be sustained beyond the short term.
